7-Day Luck Spell is a two-channel video installation depicting the artist performing a candle ritual for good luck. The ritual, as written, requires the lighting of different colored candles and the recitation of devotionals for a period of seven days.
The video footage of the artist was recorded using motion capture software that triggered recording based on the artist's movement. The close-up shots of the candles were processed through time-lapse software.
